Study Team

This study is a collaborative partnership between the Richmond Regional Planning District Commission (RRPDC), City of Richmond, Henrico County, GRTC Transit System, the Virginia Department of Rail and Public Transportation (DRPT) and the Virginia Department of Transportation (VDOT). 

Consultant Team

The consultant team is lead by Kimley-Horn, who is supported by a team of engineers, planners and communication strategists.

Study Work Group

This study has a Study Work Group (SWG) that meets at regular intervals throughout the project to provide direction and feedback. The SWG consists of members vital to the planning efforts. Individuals representing the RRPDC, the City of Richmond, Henrico County, VDOT, DRPT, GRTC and area citizens as shown below. They will assist in the project development process and provide technical and advisory input at key stages in the project. This group will be engaged throughout the project.

The SWG will oversee the technical analysis and foster interagency coordination.  To carry out its responsibilities, the SWG will review the technical products developed by the Consultant team, provide comments and suggestions for revising these products, and recommend action.
